Nana’s Kente Cloth stands as both a remembrance and a renewal of transformational design patterns. The body serves as a temple of art, shaped by first and last experiences, and NKC’s patterns represent designs meant for all products, including fabrics, clothing, home decor, and related attire. The designed patterns made by NKC capture the beauty shown in some of the Ghanaian kente colours, shades, and hues.

Nana’s Kente Cloth tells the story of a king, lost with his body, and a queen fighting a battle to see through the dark world. The eight phases of the queen’s act shall guide her people through the sacred cycle of creation and rebirth.

All designs bring the beginnings of all life into stories, highlighting both good and difficult moments. The six figures on this page were chosen to reflect our collective experiences: the fragility of health, fertility, the emergence of new social systems, and the redefinition of what it means to live meaningfully.
